Amazon adopts the future of online authentication
Amazon has recently introduced a new way to log in to your account: passkeys. This new feature allows users to log in using biometric authentication on their device, such as their fingerprint or face scan. Passkeys are unique digital keys that can’t be reused and are stored in an encrypted format on your devices instead of on a company’s servers, making them much more secure than traditional passwords. While Amazon’s implementation of passkeys isn’t without issues, it’s still a significant step forward in online security.
